Every year, we understand that due to unforeseen circumstances like winter weather that often affects travel, and to ensure the safety of our young athletes, we would like to draw your attention to the NSFHL Rescheduling Policy and Game Change Request Process.

1. Rescheduling Requirements:
• Any game that must be rescheduled should be communicated with the Division Scheduler within 7 days of the decision.
2. Offering Alternate Ice Times:
• A team will be considered to have fulfilled its obligations to ensure a game is played if it offers or has already offered at least two reasonable alternate ice times that do not conflict with another scheduled League game.
3. Correspondence Protocol:
• All communications regarding rescheduled games should be copied to the appropriate HNSFC Regional Directors.
4. Escalation Process:
• Any unresolved scheduling concerns will follow an escalation process:
1. If the matter remains unresolved at the team-to-team level, it will be escalated to the two HA Presidents.
2. If the issue is still not resolved, the matter will be reviewed by the Female Council.
